A little about Nora:

I began my journey with yoga over 10 years ago, when I was getting tired of the stress of working in fashion advertising in NYC. I got a job working the front desk of a chain of yoga studios in Brooklyn NY and after awhile became a yoga teacher as well. Having gotten my BFA in photography when I was in my twenties I started shooting my friends the other yoga teachers during the breaks between morning and evening classes, shooting as well by the rivers and parks and rooftops I found in NYC. I moved back home to Connecticut two years ago to attend UConn’s graduate program in social work, but still teach a couple of times a week and shoot other yogi’s out now in nature whenever I can.

Yoga has been my spiritual home for over a decade now, and I would love to share the centuries old sanskrit chant that first drew me in to a small local yoga studio to try a class: Lokah Samastah Sukinoh Bhavantu.  Translated into English it means: May all beings everywhere be happy and free. Namaste everyone!
